~Types Of Flags~

One type of flag is used most often, the 6-foot flag. It also comes in 5-foot  length, because the 6-foot can be harder to use. Other types of flags are used in colorguard, but they are not used with the techniques covered on this website.

Types:

6-Foot flags: 6-foot flags are used the most in colorguard. All of the techniques that are explained on this web site are done with 5 or 6 foot flags.

5-Foot Flag:  5-foot flags are the same as 6-foot flags; they are just shorter. They usually have a weight in one end so they are easier to use and toss.
