New Requirement: CHSAA Arbiter Athlete Registration
NEW FOR THE 2018-19 SCHOOL YEAR
As you likely know, the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) is the governing body for the majority of our athletic programs at Mancos High School. CHSAA has implemented a new online platform called Arbiter Athlete for the 2018-19 school year. The implementation will have little effect on our students. It will mainly effect procedures that take place at the administrative level.
However, as a result of this implementation, every student participating in any CHSAA sport, regardless of level, is required to create an account with Arbiter Athlete. CHSAA-sponsored sports include: girls and boys basketball, girls and boys cross country, football, girls and boys track and field, girls volleyball and wrestling.
Account setup must be completed before participation begins in any sport this school year—i.e. fall athletes must have this done prior to August 5th; winter participants prior to winter start date etc. This will only need to be done once during a student's four year high school career.
There are two ways to accomplish this task, and it should only take a couple of minutes:
- Use what is known as the Quick Account method. To do it this way, please text our school account number—S41795 to 69274. You are then guided through the process of setting up your account.
- Go to www.arbiterathlete.com from any desktop, laptop, tablet, iPad or smartphone. The only requirement is to be able to access the internet from your device. Again, you will be guided through the set up process. Use the same school codes listed above.
Thank you for your timely attention to this matter. We look forward to a great year in Mancos High School Athletics.
