High School - Concurrent Enrollment & Elective Teacher -Do you want to join an innovative, project-based teaching and learning environment? How about teaching freshman-level concurrent enrollment classes and Outdoor Education electives? The Mancos High School is seeking a special educator for the upcoming 2023-24 school year, and we are looking for a teacher who wants to join a team of passionate educators. 

Mancos High School has developed an exciting new hybrid schedule that combines a commitment to core academics, and an afternoon block schedule dedicated to career pathways and deeper learning opportunities. We are currently seeking a teacher with a Masters Degree, and at least 18 credits of English at the Masters level. This position’s primary focus will be to teach two sections of English Composition, two sections of Outdoor Education, and one section each of Communication and Public Speaking. Volunteer Opportunities

Art Room Volunteer - In this position, the volunteer will work directly with the Mancos School Art Teacher. They will assist with hanging artwork, organzing and filing art pieces. Skills needed for this position include: dependability, communication skills and creativity. 

 

Pre K-12 SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

A teacher's license or a substitute certification from the Colorado Department of Education is required. A degree is not required for a one-year CDE Substitute Authorization. Please stop by the District Office for a Substitute Teacher Application.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS

Must be available and reliable on short notice and enjoy working with children of all ages. Class B CDL required. We will train and take care of testing necessary to be licensed. Please complete a Bus Driver Application and drop it at the District Office or the Bus Garage.

OTHER SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS
(CUSTODIAL, FOOD SERVICES, PARAPROFESSIONALS, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS)

The district is seeking qualified candidates to fill in occasionally for support positions such as food services, paraprofessionals, administrative assistants and custodial staff. No certification is required. Download an application.
