The Board of Education is committed to a thorough search for our next superintendent. To attract the best candidates, we have engaged McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., a respected national executive search firm with over 30 years of experience in placing school district leaders. They will guide us through a comprehensive process, gathering stakeholder input and recruiting candidates. This search will be transparent and inclusive. We are confident that this partnership will help us identify a superintendent who aligns with our district's values and vision in a timely manner.
On Friday, March 14th, the Board of Education held a work session to discuss: expectations for the search, establish a timeline for the search, advertising venues, stateholder groups, establish selection criteria, discuss compensation, assign a point of contact person, board member contact information and board member confidentiality.

Wednesday, April 30th - A second board meeting to review candidates, select finalists, finalize interview questions, finalize candidate interview schedule
Thursday, May 8th - Candidate school tours and community meet-and-greet, dinner with the BOE
Friday, May 9th - Candidate interviews - BOE & stakeholders. Select superintendent
July 1 or as negotiated - Superintendent start date
