Dear Mancos Community,

Welcome back! As we transition from the sunny days of summer to the vibrant start of the 2025-2026 school year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead. Our BlueJay spirit is stronger than ever, and we can't wait to see our halls bustling with the energy and enthusiasm of our students and staff.

This year, we are continuning to strengthen our academic environment by maintaining a strict NO CELL PHONE policy in classrooms, from bell to bell.   Middle school will continue, as in previous years, to not allow phones throughout the whole school day.  Additionally, we will continue using the hall pass system to support smooth and focused classroom management. We believe that minimizing distractions is crucial to creating an optimal learning experience. 

We are also thrilled to welcome some new faces to our Mancos Secondary School staff. Their diverse experiences and fresh perspectives will undoubtedly enrich our school community. As always, we value and welcome any input from our stakeholders within the community. Your feedback and support are vital as we strive to create the best possible educational environment for our students.
