Project Description:
Students will explore real-world issues and challenges in their community or school to identify a problem that needs to be solved. They will gain an understanding of how inventions have historically solved problems and made a positive impact.
Students will have the autonomy to decide on the problem they want to address, the type of invention they want to create, and how they will present their findings to the class and community.
Students will have opportunities to collaborate with their peers, sharing ideas, skills, and knowledge to enhance their inventions.
Public Product:
Students will create a physical prototype or model of their invention and a written presentation explaining its purpose and how it solves the identified problem. They will showcase their inventions to the school community.
