Showcasing Student Work

Currently, the district holds two exhibitions a year, during which PK-12 teachers showcase the processes their students have gone through and the products and projects they finished. The intention is to highlight the learning experiences students have had as a result of PBL.

There’s an old adage in education: Whoever is doing the talking is the one doing the learning. With that in mind, we want the students doing the work of presenting instead of the teachers. The goal is to host one exhibition per year in the spring, and throughout the year, individual classroom teachers, grade bands, or content bands hold public product showcases in which students present in front of authentic audiences and experts in the field.
